re: Silicon Valley is jumping into the Solar Business with both feet now: widespread appeal from VCs and companies like Cypress Semiconductor and Applied Materials in the fray. This is going to happen. It's a done deal now. 3-5 years until it is cost competitive... Just in time for a (hopefully) Dem administration to give it a big boost. I wish we could get some strong incentives now to get us over the hump. It will be like PC's in the late 80's; almost nobody had one. By 2000 almost everybody had one. Lots of money is going to change hands...
