"Ain't THAT the truth!!" But really, we should be using golf carts in our own local neighborhoods for shopping, library trips, visiting, etc etc....I'm pretty sure we could get 100 mph from them, or maybe even more. Then we could drive the larger cars for longer trips on the freeway. After driving in the rain, construction and TERRIBLE traffic both ways from here to Mt. Vernon, I was just about beside myself... What will prove worse, is the upcoming work going North on 1-5 from the south by the industrial area to the sports stadiums.... Did I hear one or two lanes only will be open... Predictions of traffic gridlock from about 4am thru 12 midnight.
