How do you figure? All I have said is that the government just gave itself the right to determine who is a threat to Iraqi stability, be it directly or indirectly, and then just based on their belief, they can come and seize all his assets right away.

So long as the government has not used this "law", there has been no oppression. But just the same, the threat of them being able to do so is bad enough. See my post to Derek on the subject.
