i believe what they want is the ability to mfg a product and sell it at a profit vs going out of business. I do not see any mention of the benefits of outsourcing some jobs to make the corp competitive and continue to hire other american jobs.

At what point does the car mfg sent to mexico to be more competitive with japan, china etc end completely. these cars are imported back to the united states and i assume cheaper than if built in detroit. yet they are still not competitive with competition the american car industry is still falling apart and losing american jobs.

I expect those working in Mexico to mfg cars are not trying to get into the united states illegally. In fact i believe the problem with labor in mexico is same as here. it got more expensive and a lot of jobs in mexico got shifted to countries where labor is cheaper.

We should seal the border, go after the federal gov and corporations that are hiring illegals. seems federal gov doesn't have a rule you cannot do contract work for gov with illegals.

The writer imo loaded up the article against all immigration and outsourcing under pretense of illegal immigration. i believe it is a poorly written article. If they wanted to write about outsourcing then write about it. If you want to discuss nafta there is enough material to put dozens of pages together.

People like this loose support when they pile on, and imo lack credibility.
