Tim, I trade heavily so I run a workstation with a Matrox quad monitor video card and four LCD's. These cards are expensive, they run $700-$800 for the card, but you can do 3-4 monitors on the cheap if you like without even opening your existing machine. Matrox makes boxes called 'DualHead2Go' and 'TripleHead2Go'. They are small external video processors that allow you to run 3-4 monitors if you are using a laptop, and 2-3 if using a desktop. I think the double runs around 150 bucks, and it comes in analog and digital versions. You can check these out at:
