I don't believe your allegation against jlallen to be correct, if anything it is a projection of your own conduct/character on SI. I have known him for many years to be an honest man... sometimes painfully and tactlessly so, but always honest.

WRT personal 'shots'. There is nothing going on behind your back. That fear is probably just you exposing your psychotic paranoia. We are members of a public thread where topics, viewpoints, and comments on the conduct of others is open and up front.

Correct. Some people may express ill will toward others as a choice, which is evidence of breaches in our humanity. I hold no ill will toward you; as any critique or advice I offer you is intended for your betterment. You don't have to take it that way of course; however, if your conscience has been bothering you, I consider that progress.
