Did that 11% jump in price represent the number of naked short believers out there? Seems like the price should be higher if you read the boards. Everyone jumping in since they see some sort of a payout from going after the BIG BOYS.

Always been curious about this Overstock Overhype deal - I always thought the problem was that it was hyped just like every other dot com company 7 years ago that shot up to the moon from the irrational exuberance taking place at time. You know - when everyone selling the kitchen sink with a dot com after their name became richer than GE.
Weird that I always thought the problem was why it went UP and not DOWN. The majority of the dot commers that came crashing down are not blaming it on naked shorts (yet?). I guess some have bigger egos then others to think that their company was really worth that dot com hyped up price?

Maybe this case will put to bed exactly who the EVIL people are.

Disclaimer: I have bought some things online from overstock.
