I have to think that if people think the Jews went willingly, and if they think this is "factual", that their minds can be changed- because the evidence is clear that Jews tried to escape. One of the saddest things is that many of the Jews who emigrated from Germany prior to 1939 emigrated to other areas of Europe- France, the Netherlands, etc- where they were later deported and killed after the Germans attacked those countries.

I hope people who think that it is "factual" that the Jews went willingly to their deaths, will consider the lengths many Jews went to escape their deaths, or to make sure their children escaped death. Those who were rounded up and sent to camps struggled to stay alive in those camps, even though dying would certainly have been easier.

And the gays and gypsies and Catholics (who didn't agree with Hitler) and the disabled didn't go willingly either- just to mention other groups targeted by the Nazis.
