re: I always figured that the reason for the legal system was to give an alternative to going out and killing someone. Because if there is no other way to redress grievances or settle disputes, that is what is going to happen. Tort law has been around for a long time. Works pretty well. But the Neo's like Ten know better. They are going to reform the system. Just like the new policy of pre-emptive force, dissing NATO and the UN, etc, etc, etc... Thank God these geniuses arrived just in time to save us from ourselves.
