She takes several doses of Flaxseed oil a day also. When we originally bought it, we were working on the backside of the Cholesterol problem in order to help me achieve lower blood pressure by consuming better oils. She found that her body aches backed off a great deal. (a few years after she was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus, she was found to also have Fibromyalgia). We've spun quite a tale of investigation over the last 20 years. She's only taking a very mild doseage of doxepin (@15mg) because it was discovered that low doses would help someone sleep without causing horrible addictions. A big help for Fibro sufferers because laying in one position too long causes an ache which then wakes them up and then the aches keep them from getting back to sleep, and the problem escalates. She isn't on any other meds.

If you know someone with Fibro, tell them that regular massage will slowly desensitize the trigger points and sore spots. I started massage therapy training at IPSB about 5 years ago, and by great reward, the massage started giving her relief, a few days at a time. By the time I was into the deep tissue semesters, we found that deep tissue was giving her a week to ten days of pain relief. At this point, we can slide two weeks or so if we have to, and she doesn't fall backwards very far.

Energywork was the turning point for the Lupus problem. Reiki changed our lives. I'll give you that adventure in a different post, because its long.

Energywork is the main stay or core of our efforts. I have much to share about that kind of technology if the folks here are interested.
