The other problem I have is sour air coming out of the vents.
So I avoid the air conditioning being on as much as possible. Really feel ill when it is on.

Installed new air cleaner for the return last year and had the vents cleaned.

The technician is saying that the air coming through the vents is not being treated before it enters the vents hence I am getting the sour smell as a result of the moldy air coming through the vents from the air conditioning unit.

His solution is to install a separate filter to treat the air flowing over the cooling coil through the vents into the rooms------killing the mold and viruses before they flow into the vents. That will likely be installed next week. Technician says if it doesn't work I will get my $ back.

Looked it up on the internet--------has been used to treat the similar problem in commercial buildings, so will see.

Beginning to think this problem may not be easily solved.

I will measure the air and see what it is coming out.
