LOL! (I am not much surprised that anyone who "bases his positions on the merits of issues" would defy understanding by the media elites and DC establishment types. :-) It has been my observation that most of our ill-educated 'infotainment-driven' corporate media can ONLY perceive issues through a faulty, far-to-simplistic cracked lens that sees everything as either 'liberal' or 'conservative' when, in fact, it's doubtful that they can even consistently define or identify what those terms mean anymore... and often both sides of their simplistic and imaginary 'liberal/conservative' divide are united in their empowerment of ever bigger, ever more intrusive government, deficit spending, and loss of personal liberties... making them more alike then a true choice of different philosophies of government. So, not so different after all, presenting a Hobbesian choice to the public as their preferred method to shackle and control what should be a free people....
