Are you that dense gary? No one on this thread has discounted the value of fiber!!!!!!(to use your emphatic notation)-it won't make sense for home use for 30+years. Of course our long distance is fiber, but it has to get to the curb first-ala copper. please stop posting, until you realize the jist of the argument-NO FIBER FROM TH CURB IN MOST AREAS-yes in large cities companies can connect directly to fiber-anywhere else it will not be economically feasible for a while.
