Weather forecasts have deteriorated over the weekend so far.

The E&P's appear willing to drill themselves into a bust again. No doubt none of them saw this production surge coming or have any idea when it will end. The Land Rig News Letter showed a decline in activity over the last year that so far has not resulted in any decline in production on land.

This could take all of 2008 to work off. Just as more and more drilling and service capability is brought to the market.

Going forward E&P's will have the upper hand when commodity prices rise and there are more than enough service providers waiting to unstack rigs.

Brrr
