Well, whatever it was the whole experience was more like a vacation than an ordeal. I have told the kids that when I am 90 I am going in the opium den. In china at the end of a long life where a person works hard, and takes care of the family, that is their reward. We should be so civilized. Our Calvinistic attitudes (by some)do not allow such civilized behavior. Many (guess who-lol) do not even want to allow the terminally ill to smoke pot. Not even smoke pot????? The terminally ill should be allowed to have whatever they want, including state funded opiates. That is what a civilized society would do-lol. Not even allow terminally ill to smoke pot? To quote Robert Byrd (in his finest speech ever IMO) "It is BARBARIC---BARBARIC-------------BARBARIC-LOL.
