so he has yet to be proved wrong wrong when? when he was saying there WAS wmd, or when he wasn't? There were NO inspections at all when he flipped his story. Personally, I think the incriminating evidence was cleaned up either by being trucked into Syria or being cleaned up by Russian technicians. There is quite a bit of evidence on both fronts (massive convoys into Syria and lots of Russians active on the ground), and we gave Saddam plenty of time. Saddam, nutcase that he was, probably figured that if he get paid spokesmen like Ritter, Galloway and Al Jazeera to proclaim him innocent of WMDs and clean up the evidence, he could get the US to leave him alone. Even stopped clocks are right twice a day. The wise man does not declare them trustworthy timekeepers on that account.
