I'm sure "puppy" was adopted....We gave our daughter and her hubby and kids a Golden Retriever puppy for Christmas one year. F was so very pleased with himself....VERY cute puppy....but he was from a different breeder than the one who bred our three Goldens over the years.

That puppy was just over the top destructive, and a huge handful for all of them. They tried to deal with him, but just couldn't. Again, tore up stuff, wouldn't "play" nice with the kids, was a total Alpha dog. In fact, so much so that we wondered if the place where he came from was really a puppy mill....The yellow mutt had papers, but he also had one huge destructive gene.

Daughter and family found a nice place in one of the San Juans for him, and so he could run free and not be confined to the small house they were in at the time. They have seen him twice of the last three years, and he seems to be doing much better.

Kids now have the cutest ugly pug you've ever seen. And Otto loves to come over to me, shed all over me, and sit in my lap, snorting when he sleeps....

LOL!
