Yes, that's how I feel. And with discourse at such a low level anyway, I would prefer we deal on a more substantial manner with the issues.

I think that calling names, being insulting, and treating people with little respect says a great deal more about the poster than about the object of the words.
I recognize that for many this kind of humor is acceptable. For me it isn't. But I am old and a product of the South.

This means if you are going to call Bush a chimp, you should say,
"Bless his heart, that poor dear man looks just like a chimpanzee."
