I took an existential psychology course one time and the book assigned was "The Irrational Man".

No, we are not very ratonal. In fact I am amazed every day, that we even managed to establish democracies. But remmeber our brains evolved for jungle survival, to survive lions and leapords, and life in the trees and later life on the edge of the savanna.

Our brains did not evolve to perfect sequential logic.

Most people are lazy thinkers and do not even understand minds have to be developed. They think they are born with the complete package-lol.

Just as an average person who trains every day, can outrun even the greatest natural athlete who does not train, so an average highly developed mind can easily out think even the greatest naturally bright mind that is not developed.

Wisdom and knowledge are qualities people have to work and fight for:

One of my top ten sayings: "The path to wisdom is steep and narrow and dangerous as the razors edge." Sommerset Maughm,

This has become 10 times as true since George Bush was eleted president!!
