I doubt you'll be able to get your hands around this using that as a tool, e.g. anybody holding MBS/CDO/CLO paper but not subject to banking regs has no reserve requirement and therefore can't get pinched by compliance into unloading it -- if that's what you're trying to somehow anticipate

Plus private bagholders don't even have to tell anybody they got jammed either, except maybe the IRS in order to write it off

Which gets me thinking about another thing -- a lot of write-offs on this crap could put a big dent in those high flying tax receipts that are holding the Treasury fort here
