Thanks, GZ!

(Yep... my 'main problem' with the US 'news media' isn't any perceived biases. Everything and everyone has 'biases'. Biases I can deal with. No... my main problem is with their [apparently] institutionalized INCOMPETENCE.)

The main broadcast media is miserably incompetent at getting the facts right, or at analysis or judgment (especially on most issues of science - which seem far beyond the ken of most reporters), cable media is just as bad - only they yell louder, and the process of consolidation in our print media has apparently also rewarded bland incompetence, too.

So, my main 'problem' with 'news media' isn't any biases (which I can detect and deal with) but the generalized prevalence of incompetence and 'infotainment' focus... which results in time spent watching the broadcasts being largely a waste of time.
