The actual way the world works is known to but a few. We have to hide a few secrets from your inquiring mind. We don't want this stuff getting around. What I think people miss is that the world tends toward organization, not disorganization, as we need groups to get anything done. Thoreau found this out. You had to depend on society for any level of technology. You had to come to town for seed, tools, repairs, etc.. What I found was the hardest to keep going when camping over extended periods was light. Few companies make durable lamps that are cheap to use. My father who was in the engineers during the second world war, told me if it was just up to better equipment, we would be all speaking German now. That isn't strictly true, but they did have better optics, cars, guns and engines. The FW-190 was almost impossible to beat. But he added that one of the main reasons we won the war was the coleman stove. People fight better when they have had a hot coffee in the morning. EC<:-}
