Hello,

You can enter now, but you get the last placed guy's cash minus a buck, so you start with $65.76. Good luck, you'll probably beat longnshort no problem, but might have trouble winning. This round began about 3 months ago and is in is final legs. There will be a new one beginning about Aug 10th or so.

If I understand correctly, you can open positions only on the last Friday of the month but close them any day? What about your initial positions?

Initial positions are on a date when the game starts - we all started with $100. Next start will be sometime early August, not actually set yet. You've got the trading rules down it seems - we may open up to being able to close out trades (long or short) mid-month and just limit the number of trades per player per month. Trading mid-month isn't a problem, we limit it to keep my time requirement down - a daytrader could make this more work than I want.

Dave, if you notice my post, want to give some thought to how we can make this and other variations of trading games programmatic and offer cash prizes?

Hey, I don't mind punching in the stock prices and share counts, but you're welcome to throw any cash prize at us that you like! I may end up mysteriously winning every round depending on the size of the cash prize.....

I'll get you in the game with your picks later today.
