Harris Stratex Networks Chosen to Expand Access and Backbone Networks Across Africa

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., July 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSTX - News), the leading independent supplier of turnkey wireless transmission solutions, has been selected to extend the access and backbone networks for a leading mobile operator in West Africa. Under the agreement, worth $11.7 million, Harris Stratex Networks will deploy its TRuepoint®, MegaStar® and Eclipse(TM) products in several West African countries, enhancing the reach and capacity of the transmission networks, and supporting the build-out of new sites.
