I know of no other president who took the pinnacle of popularity and turned it into this kind of approval rating. Irrational people and biased pollsters, right?

I can't recall in my lifetime the US being viewed as sympathetically as we were after the 911 attacks...and now we are the pariah of the world, regardless of the justification for such a feeling...it's there.

You know what, it's pretty damn hard to do what bush has managed to do in just four years. It will take a freaking generation to undo the mess.

...Clinton's last second rescue from a similar situation?

Clinton was a lecherous self destructive bastard, but he never put the country in such a mess.
