"If a madman was after you, would you go to your neighbor's house so as to fight him there instead of at your house where your family might get hurt? Would you call that strategy noble?"

As with most of your complaints you have mischaracterised the situation in typical partisan transparency.

If a madman had declared one of his goals to be my slaughter, I would definitely go to where ever he was causing trouble to confront him. If I was doing something at the neighbors and he showed up there with intentions to do something heinous at the neighbors, I wouldn't hesitate to take him on under those circumstances and would prefer that to inviting him into my home. If he threatened to bring his uncle, his cousins etc I'd tell him to bring em all and bring it on.

Your claim that we did something ignoble to the Iraqis is flawed. Al-Qaeda picked the battle ground and we recognized the benefits of taking them on there. I don't think Iraqis should be grateful for the choices terrorists have made to come to their country and fight us. It is unfortunate for them, but you seem to think they should blame America for terrorism. Some might be like you and resent America for the violence of Al-Qaeda. There are, after all some Iraqis who've hosted/supported them, similar to what you do with your rhetoric. At what point do you hold terrorists responsible for their acts?
