This is a huge myth that's been fed ever since. Maybe someday you'll accept the truth. Reagan played a large part, but Presidents since the end of WWII participated in winning the Cold War. Reagan was luckily there when their unsustainable system collapsed.

Now Bush wants to re-start it!
