Yesterday, July 24th, 2007. Momentum players were divided.

The seller won, the buyer lost big on Dow stocks(down 226), and Nasdaq(down 50) and S&P500 too.

In momentum play, you never go upstream. Against the tide. That's why momentum plays are called ebb and flow like the ocean waves of seashores. Normally, the index should return to normal at the end of the day, if sellers predominate. Instead, it went further down, when buyers had to cover(selling frenzy at closing).
