I was the lawn boy! My dad expected a golf course like yard or I didn't get to play golf. It certainly wasn't as hard as many kids had it but it was quite a bit of work for a 13 year old to keep it weed free, mowed, fertilized, watered and the gardens free of weeds. When I was 14 I had to de-tassel corn and bail hay. My dad was a white collar guy that wanted us to experience some serious hard work.
