If you define crime as opposition to government policies, as has been done in China and elsewhere at times, about 70% of Americans are now criminals. Crime rates in England, Japan, and many other countries are much lower than in the United States. Support your local police: vote for gun control. Most police forces favor gun registration. The financial collapse that now seems inevitable will test whether Americans prefer freedom to choose for themselves or will allow the government to take more control of their lives.
