I seem to remember that similar (?) investment companies were killed in the last crash (~2001) as the opportunities to sell their investments and to raise debt/capital evaporated almost overnight. It seems that MCGC and ACAS have survived for long time, but I wonder if the dividend payments are secure and how much they would be affected if they can't sell any of their investments and can't access capital/debt markets for let's say a year?
