Rick,

I just have a little hunch of this "model system". I think it is an apoptosis assay using infected T cells, and PN compounds can inhibit the HIV-induced apoptotic response of the T cells in this tissue culture model. If this were true, the story would be known to the whole world, soon. What would you say?
