If you work with programmers doing development in modern IDEs or production staff that do imagery work (and I work with both), they benefit from 64-bit. Our standard desktop has 8gb, now. It adds about $250 to the price of the PC. Combined with an OS that lets that memory be used, we can make that back in productivity in as little as one day.
