Newberry says slowing shipments in the second half will not be as significant as some people had expected - but he stresses that they will in fact be slower. "We said in January that the second half would be worse than the first half; people did not like that message, but now that is the clear consensus," Newberry says. I never had a problem with that statement made 6 months ago but a lot of "experts" got bent out of shape 6 months ago. If we assume a flat scenario while the first half is very strong something has to give...the second half ...it's freaking common sense - no need for a SCE analyst to figure it out.
