I didn't say that ARRS was going out of business.
The tax rate is too high to overcome with incremental revenue growth. The biggest opportunity was Comcast. Instead of awarding even more business on success, they split the pie further by picking Thomson.

ARRS dropped the ball. After losing Tandberg they should have reacted quickly to pick another company to continue growing revenue and future earnings. Bad management? Well, yes.
Buying HLIT could have solved that problem.
