Youngang,

Blowing learning curve:

It does not make any sense that AMD would gamble with the production schedule and experiment with it and coming out short. In the automotive business, we have to produce million pieces of the same product without much hick-ups. Well, just as Yousef has mentioned, if a plant manager allow the development engineers to perform "experiments" on the production line, this manager would be fired in no time! Despite the incompetence of the AMD management, I still do not believe the plant manufacturing engineers would be that stupid, just like gambling. Do you know what the most dreadful word we automotive engineers hear? RECALL!

John.
