Nibbled at a few more shares of Companhia Paranaense de Energia (ELP) to add to the other shares I have in the IRA account. I like that they have 17 hydroelectric plants and 1 thermoelectric plant, with a total installed capacity of 4,549.6 megawatts. These are excellent assets that continue to generate cash flow that are not affected by the price of oil. In fact, their production costs are pretty much fixed and only gain in value as the price of oil rises. The utility also spins off a good dividend and has good long term growth prospects that benefits from a falling U.S. dollar. EKS
