Why doesn't this surprise me? This congress couldn't pass gas if it had too. The ignorance of those that voted against this bill is glaring. A while ago an old friend of mine called me to say that she'd been told by a doctor that she had inoperable stomach cancer and had about 6 months to live. Shortly after that call she went into chemotherapy and shortly after that on morphine for the pain. I talked to her at this stage and she was more or less incapacitated by the morphine. After a few weeks she started smoking pot and stopped taking morphine. To make a long story short pot allowed her to eat and keep her resistance up. BTW her 6 month term ended a few weeks ago..... She's in complete remission fortunately! Remember this if a doctor ever gives you "6 months".....<gg>
