you know something john? ... i like you ... for putting up with me! i have to say i've heard the casino comparison, of course. the word "players" etc, sure, all of that. but in the stock market, the House is ... US! it's us, we're competing, you and me (if the ancient Vedanta is correct: that thou art--all is one)...
but my friend, getting away from that. you like, it seems to me, to consult authority to access truth, or consensus. the dictionary, the bible ... fine! consult them in good health! but, it's just, you can figure stuff out by yourself too. You like Skoal? (i saw it today in Cumberland Farms, thawt of you) then fine! now you know, simply, sincerely, what is "being led by the flesh"--and there is no shame in it!--you don't have to look it up! we're back where we started. you are the authority--perhaps arrogantly, i make up my own words (i'm a fiction writer). this is somewhat done in a spirit of anti-authority ... but my value is always to communicate, and the heart of that word is unity ... So ... you like Skoal? use it in good health!
PS. today on BBC radio i heard of a new study which bio-chemically correlates the "high" people get from chocolate with that of hemp leaves (pot). i'm not kidding you. enjoy. |
