Hi everyone... It may be that I am extraordinarily lucky, but I started daytrading with $2800 (my life savings) and I brought it up to $15k in six weeks. All I did was play the news... you need an up to the minute resource for breaking news stories, real-time quotes, a website that will give you the most actives and gainers (or losers), and access to a good chat room so that others can be your eyes and ears for things you might have missed. Some of my favorite sites are: stocksmart.com wsrn.com prnewswire.com my.yahoo.com isld.com cnbc.com There are many others, but I think what it boils down to is determination, and thinking out every move before you press the order button. I trade a little differently now, because the stakes are much higher. I never "toss the whole wad" at any stock, like I did when i first started. My growth is much slower now, but much safer to my capital. It is difficult to start small, but in this information age... it is definately not impossible.
