Ever watch HGTV's show, "Designed to Sell"? They do all their fixes with less than $2000 and seven days. It's amazing the transformations they can make in those houses.

i've seen the show....

they do a good job, however the cost of
'less than $2k' is totally bogus

they have a designer, carpenters, painters, landscapers, etc, etc...

anyone who has ever done rehab knows that the cost of re-design, rehab is highly labor intensive...iow, if you have the ability to replace cabinets, counters, vanities, plumbing, etc YOURSELF you can do a decent job for around $2k, otherwise, at least triple that number

that said, even at triple the $2k, if it helps to move the house quickly, it's money well spent
