How've I fared this week in the face of what I hear some people call a blood-bath ?

You'll recall that one of the purposes of my indexing strategy was to avoid "fear and greed"; to be satisfied simply to outperperform the S&P 500.

The strategy has continued to be successful of these aims. My diversified portfolio has continued to outperform the S&P500, and I remain sanguine ! (Of course the fact the the PF continues to outperform the S&P500 implies that the non-S&P500 component continues to outperform the index).

I haven't even bothered to look at dollar values. It was my intention that dollar values be irrelevant, and I have been able to accept this... so far. The S&P500 compnent of my PF is by far the largest.... so dollar values will have declined. The point is that I have been able to accept that the fall in dollar values is irrelevant.
