I certainly hope that Mike Vick goes to jail for at least six years for his dog fighting. That is an unforgivable offense. Congressman Sensenbrenner (republican of course) watered down the penalties for dog fighting last year, so Vick may escape the most severe penalities. I am sending large checks to both the humane society and whomever runs against Sensenbrenner next year. What type of person gets a thrill out of torturing poor defenseless animals? Only a sadistic vile and totally ignorant human being, whom society has every right to punish severely. Dogs feel pain and get scared and only a very sick person could get enjoyment out of seeing that. What kind of civilization are we to allow that to go on?
