Kent, I agree totally on Gobert being a PUNK, but he is an incredible rider that for sure, i have been talking to some freinds here and it seems that he has a Superbike ride open to him for next season (WORLDS) and a possible G.P. deal in the works, but it seems that the Superbike will be the go.

Corser is also looking like a return to SBK Worlds for 98'; Troy bayliss who destroyed the all the factory world riders at Phillip Is on the SBK this year, got an 250cc GP bike with just two days notice and having never riddebn the bike which was built for a 5 foot nothing Japanese rider (Troy is over 6foot tall) and ended up 6th in the Island 250 race. He only lacked the top end speed and would of been in the top 3 if not for that handicap of a slower straight line motobike.

I don't mind russel, but he has no consistancy lately, and that Du Hammel i think deserves a chance on a better bike in the worlds. I knew of him from a few races i sqaw short's on ESPN and then when he got the woldcard i was impressed at what he achieved.

Big time next year for a few more Aussie in GP's and SBK, so you guys offshore better start getting worried, because the talent down here is at l time high, and that saying something !!

GO AUSSIE GO !!
