Never one to miss out on a good ink blot challenge, I observe something as well.

Marisol's observations seemed over stated, even alarmist. The Muslim girl did appear dignified and astute and I wouldn't have noticed any comparative characteristics from her classmates if not directed to do so. The odd thing for me is not the picture showing a dignified, confident, and assimilated Muslim girl; it is all the objection to that kind of image being held up as a model. I say more, much, much more until it catches on with the masses. Shoot lets make it a fad to compete to see who can conduct themselves with the greater civility and dignity. I doubt if there would be a spec of complaints if more and more photos are shot of radicals protesting something; its too bad but maybe some people need that validation.
