that's up to you;
it's difficult to project chip sales and capex and at least IMHO even more impossible to predict short term pricing.
NVLS needs to continue to perform quarter after quarter.
NVLS should benefit when memory segment transitions to copper; Copper CMP is a big market - unfortunately NVLS was not able to crack this one so far successfully.
Overall things continue to look up:
the sky is not falling but on the other hand global IC sales are not growing like Squash Zucchini - more like an oak tree - very steady.

Alongside the posting of strong profits for the second quarter, Qualcomm is said to be increasing its orders by 15-20% in order to meet projected strong 3G handset sales and increasing sales forecasts, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.

Qualcomm highlighted that it had delivered record mobile-station modem (MSM) chipset shipments for eight consecutive quarters. CDMA-based chipset shipments were up 18% on year at over 65 million units in the second quarter.

During a previous investors conference, the company cited data from the CDMA Development Group and the GSM Association which said that over 380 CDMA-based 3G networks had been launched as of June 2007 and, in turn, the number of subscribers had grown rapidly.

Qualcomm estimated that approximately 90-94 million CDMA-based handsets shipped across all makers in the second quarter, representing a 29-34% on-year growth.

Strategy Analytics recently recorded that CDMA-based handset shipments continue to grow faster than total worldwide handset shipments and represented an estimated 36% of the total worldwide shipments in the first quarter of 2007, versus 29% as recorded a year ago.

The Commercial Times cited sources at equipment makers as saying that Qualcomm had begun growing its orders by 15-20% in the third quarter with all solutions being fabricated on 65nm. The sources project that the amount may surpass 30,000 wafer starts per month in the fourth quarter.
