Jews have lived amongst Palestinian Arabs for centuries, and generally got along quite well.

That's exactly like a KKKer explaining that he never had any problem with the darkies in the good old days when they knew their place.

The Arabs were happy. The Jews who lived as dhimmis were not.

And that was before the entire Arab world absorbed Nazi propaganda. Mein Kampf is a best seller and you can find its sentiments echoed every day.
