What would you expect Dell to say to that question?

I'd venture to guess he doesn't have the guts, imagination, or plain ol' intelligence it would take to bring Apple back. If Dell were in Steve's place? Doesn't Dell wish....

Here's a guy who's made his reputation on a company that sells versions of inferior products to people who don't have the sense to shop around. Granted, it's a good product, the sales model is a good one, and Dell is making good money. But if he were really worth his salt he would develop his own hardware and software, continue development of it, and then market the whole package. THAT'S a job. Dell has about as much right to comment on Apple's management as does the manager of the bagle place down the street from my office.

Good luck today, everyone. Not that you need luck when you're in Apple.

Mark
