LindyBill; No I am not going off in all directions. You cannot segment our actions in the ME. What we do in one country has direct consequences throughout the ME. You don't think our gifts to Israel have a direct reaction in Iraq? Of course they do. .......The hate and the reasons the US was not showered with flowers in Iraq like Cheney promised is exactly because we try to simplify the war. Until we try to understand the big picture (their culture)we are going to fail. Are we failing in Iraq; of course we are. The country continues to go in the wrong direction. iht.com
