Well, that's not good for the long term survival of Israel. What do you think the country should do to reverse this "Jew hatred" and turn it into "Jew love"? :-)

I've had it with this crap, Elroy. You want to see a land where one nation REALLY declared a formerly multiethnic country it the property of just one of the people there and REALLY enforced its decrees with ethnic cleansings and massacres, unlike the Israelis? Look at Turkey! Go ask any Armenian, Greek or Kurd about the problems "brought on" by Attaturk's creation of modern Turkey. They'll give you an earful. Millions dead, and millions more dispossessed from lands they had lived in for thousands of years before the Turks ever showed up.

But have the Armenians, Greeks and Kurds devoted their existence to wiping Turkey of the map, to declaring that Turks everywhere must be killed? Do THEY fill THEIR schools with "martyr's galleries" of people who have died killing Turks? No! They remember, but they got on with their lives as best they could.

The people responsible for paranoid hatred are the people who ARE DOING THE PARANOID HATING. Not whoever did whatever action 50 or 100 years ago that the paranoids have decided to blame.

So go ask the haters what they intend to do. Asking the Israelis is like asking the person who is the object of a paranoid's fantasy to stop the paranoia. He isn't crazy himself, and he's not engaging in a conspiracy to kill the paranoid as the lunatic believes, so he can't stop it. It's not HIS paranoia.

You might as well ask what the Israelis should do to stop the Sudanese Defense Minister from accusing them of causing the genocide in Darfur.
